Born and raised in austin, I didn’t realize that I’ve been in hospitality all my life until I developed south Congress Hotel in my hometown. As I looked back in time, it felt like all roads had lead me here. Space making, collaborating, caring about people and places, through entertainment, software, sports, retail, weren’t about industries, it was about humanity. Hospitality challenges me daily to deliver and thrive. But it absolutely has enriched my life in ways I could have never predicted. What almost breaks me, certainly has made me better, and grateful.
